Ilona and Emil travelled to the beautiful location on the Isle of Harris to be married by Helen Mayer on Luskentyre beach. They managed to rent a new property – Corran – on Luskentyre which turned out to be all brand new inside with fabulous contemporary and comfortable interiors.
Ilona had put so much effort into all the tiny details of their wedding – as I walked into the house I was surrounded by beautiful white handwoven dreamcatchers. Everything was planned out beautifully. As keen walkers, Ilona and Emil had been exploring the dunes opposite the house each day and had picked a spot for their ceremony. After the ceremony we all went on one of the longest walks I have known on a wedding day – it was amazing to walk to the edge of the dunes overlooking the vista of Luskentyre Beach.
Chris from Flavour came over to cook the most wonderful three-course dinner for the couple and their two friends in the evening. What a perfect wedding day!
