A small beach wedding on Uig, Isle of Lewis with a difference. Tally, Ben and their lovely, but not very well 2-year-old son, came all the way over to the Isle of Lewis for a beautiful small wedding – just the three of them surrounded by everything that was important to them. Their little boy and the outdoors. They stayed at Beach Bay Cottage which is an incredible house built into the landscape looking directly onto Uig sands in the far North West of the island. It is one of my favorite spots on the Isle of Lewis for its remote beauty and stunning stretch of shallow waters.
However, at the end of October, we experienced some really bad weather. The rain seemed endless and the wind was almost as bad. But their love of the outdoors meant they were happy to brave the weather in order to be married outside regardless. With a little shelter from the house they married outdoors on the patio. Their son slept happily indoors and they could see him just through the windows. After a break whilst enjoying some cake and champagne, we waited for the weather to abate. A little later that day we met up at Uig sands for some equally stormy but lovely photographs. I hope you enjoyed your time on the island and I wish you all the very best.
