A few images from last week’s wedding on Scarista beach, which was so beautiful and relaxed. Claire and Keith, accompanied by their two little dogs, had a wonderful humanist ceremony on the beach conducted by Mark Archibald. Humanist ceremonies are a beautiful, relaxed and more personalised way of getting married, as is choosing a beach for your ceremony location!

The couple were staying at Scarista House for a couple of nights as a very special treat for their wedding, with the added benefit of being able to walk over to the beach to get married. After a wonderful ceremony including Handfasting and drinking from the Quiach, as well as several readings, we went for a walk down the beach for some photographs. I tend to keep things fairly short and simple as I know that it feels more natural that way and the smiles and enjoyment is real in that case! Scarista beach was looking amazingly serene that day, with no waves and clear blue seas, which is unusual for this beach. Wishing Claire and Keith all the best in their travels onwards for their honeymoon!
