Scottish wedding photographer
Margaret Soraya
Planning your Scottish wedding?
Hi, I’m Margaret.
I’ve been a wedding photographer in Scotland for over 22 years, having photographed around 800 weddings across the country. I’m based on the Isle of Harris in the Outer Hebrides, with a base in Inverness, so I have extensive experience photographing weddings across the Highlands as well as throughout the whole of mainland Scotland.
Over the years my work has been recognised with a number of awards, including Scottish Photographer of the Year (MPA), Landscape & Travel Photographer of the Year (MPA, four times running), Wedding Photojournalism Photographer of the Year (SWPP), and the Epson Black & White Award for Weddings.
I photograph weddings of every size and style, from grand celebrations at Aldourie Castle, Eilean Donan Castle, Skibo Castle, St Magnus Cathedral, The Cabarfeidh Hotel, and Achnagairn Castle, to relaxed countryside weddings and village hall celebrations, to small elopements on beaches on Harris. My work has also taken me to exclusive-use venues further afield, including Lord’s Cricket Ground, Sopwell House, and even California. Wherever you’re marrying in Scotland, I’d love to be part of your day.
Please get in touch; I’d love to hear about your plans.
Kind words from couples
