Scotland City & Castle
Scotland Wedding Photographer
Wedding photography has taken me all over Scotland over the past 22 years, from grand city venues in Edinburgh and Glasgow to castles and country houses further afield. It’s also where my family live so I know the central belt well.
Venues I’ve photographed at
I’ve been a Scotland Wedding Photographer at some of Scotland’s most recognisable venues, from Gleneagles and Edinburgh Castle to Dalhousie Castle and Cameron House on the banks of Loch Lomond. I’ve also photographed at Hotel du Vin One Devonshire Gardens, and Melville Castle Hotel, along with The Old Course Hotel in St Andrews, Mansfield Traquair, and Dundas Castle. Further afield, I’ve covered weddings at Muckrach Country Lodge, Innes House, the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh, Fingask Castle, Logie Country House in Aberdeenshire, and Balbirnie in Fife.
Whether your wedding is a grand celebration at a castle or a more intimate day in the heart of the city, I bring the same eye for light, along with the same friendly and relaxed approach.

Atholl Palace
A striking 19th-century hotel in the heart of Pitlochry, surrounded by woodland and framed by Highland Perthshire scenery. Atholl Palace’s grand turreted architecture and sweeping estate grounds make for a genuinely fairy-tale wedding backdrop. You can view Atholl Palace online here.
Fyvie Castle
A National Trust for Scotland castle in rural Aberdeenshire, complete with turrets, a loch, and a world-famous art collection. Fyvie’s fairytale architecture and stunning parkland make it one of Aberdeenshire’s most storied wedding venues, whether the day unfolds in the castle’s elegant gallery or under a marquee on the south lawn. You can view Fyvie Castle online here.
Fasque Castle
A 19th-century Baronial mansion at the foot of the Grampian Mountains, once home to the family of four-time Prime Minister William Gladstone. Fasque Castle’s grand hall, sunken gardens, and own private chapel make it a genuinely fairytale setting to photograph a wedding.
More Scottish venues
Scotland’s city and countryside venues bring their own character to photograph, grand architecture, formal gardens, elegant interiors, alongside the same unpredictable Scottish weather and light I’ve spent over twenty years learning to work with. Whether your wedding is a hundred-guest celebration at Gleneagles or an intimate ceremony at Mansfield Traquair, I bring the same care to every image.
I’ve photographed weddings at many more wonderful venues across Scotland, including Raemoir House, Ardroe House, Crieff Hydro, and Dalhousie Castle. Every wedding is different, and I’d love to talk through your own wedding, wherever it is. I am happy to travel throughout Scotland, and with a base on the mainland it is easy to access anywhere in Scotland.
