Olivia and Roddy held their beach wedding on the isle of Mull at a local beach which is one of the most secluded and remote locations in the Isle of Mull. Langamull beach is a 40 min walk from the nearest road so remains quiet and unspoilt. Their ambitious plans for a sunset wedding in October in Scotland paid off. The day started dull and rainy as the guests walked down in wellies and winter coats to this windswept beautiful beach. The couple were married by Roddy’s mum, surrounded by friends and family.
A very fast photo session with the families allowed everyone to start making their way to the wedding reception whilst I took some photographs of the couple. Just as we were standing on the rocks, the clouds parted and there was some of the best light I have seen for photography. It was fleeting ten minutes but enough to capture some lovely images of the couple at their favourite beach.
We all headed to Aros Hall in Tobermory for the wedding reception where a hog roast greeted us shortly before speeches and dancing.
