Outer Hebrides beach wedding photography

Stuart and Ashleigh eloped to the Isle of Lewis in the Outer Hebrides for an extremely romantic and intimate wedding. It was just the two of them and they stayed at the beautiful SEAcroft pods in Timsgarry near Uig which made an excellent choice for the ceremony.

Their original plan had been to go down to the beach for their wedding ceremony, but as with many weddings on Scottish islands, you can never quite predict the weather. The day was blustery, showery, and extremely windy! So the more sheltered and easy-to-access patio at SEAcroft worked really well. The views weren’t too bad either!

We headed down to the very beautiful Reef beach afterward for some beach wedding photographs and were very lucky with the Hebridean sunshine. It was pretty much a perfect day for a small wedding on the Isle of Lewis…
